New Plymouth Event Venues is home to four iconic venues: the Bowl of Brooklands, Yarrow Stadium, TSB Showplace and TSB Stadium.
From 15 person meetings to 15,000 capacity concerts our venues regularly host a wide range of events including concerts, sport events, conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, corporate functions, weddings and community events.
Bowl of Brooklands
The Bowl of Brooklands is Taranaki's biggest and most iconic concert venue, the Bowl of Brooklands is situated within Pukekura Park. With the natural amphitheatre and permanent stage over the lake, this is a world-class concert venue.
Home of WOMAD NZ, our beautiful natural grass amphitheatre has been the host to iconic acts such as Fleetwood Mac, Sir Elton John, Matchbox Twenty and NZ legends Six60.
TSB Showplace
The TSB Showplace is Taranaki's main theatre and conference venue and the complex has several options that can cater for everything, from large international touring productions and conferences to training workshops.
The TSB Theatre and the Theatre Royal are the two main auditoriums, both unique in character. The TSB Theatre (previously known as the Opera House) is ornately decorated and exudes theatrical ambience, while the Theatre Royal is a multi-purpose performance auditorium.
Located in central New Plymouth and in the heart of the performing arts and conference scene, the TSB Showplace is situated close to accommodation, bars and eateries, and the iconic Coastal Walkway.
TSB Stadium
TSB Stadium is a multi-purpose events centre that hosts sports, concerts, exhibitions, trade shows dinners, conventions and community events.
Only a 20 minute walk from the city centre, the TSB Stadium has hosted some of the biggest names in sports and music including NZ Breakers, Harlem Globetrotters, Six60, INXS, The Beach Boys, Tina Turner, Pink Floyd Experience, Midnight Oil and Jethro Tul.
Yarrow Stadium
Named the third best rugby stadium on earth by New Zealand Rugby World magazine in (May 2009), Yarrow Stadium is an international-standard sports, entertainment and conference facility featuring sports fields, grandstand seating and function rooms, all just minutes away from the CBD.
Yarrow Stadium’s rich history includes hosting the likes of the 2011 Rugby World Cup, All Blacks, FIFA u20 World Cup, NZ Warriors, Super Rugby, Wellington Phoenix, Nitro Circus, TRFU Bulls as well as hosting local events and sports from the likes of Club Rugby and Club Football.
