Seán Brosnahan presents a free lecture on Irish migration to southern New Zealand.
Seán is a curator at Toitū Otago Settlers Museum and an adjunct member of the Centre for Irish and Scottish Studies at the University of Otago. Irish and Scottish migration to this area paved the way for much of the regions development over the early years of European settlement, and Seán will dive specifically into Irish migration and its importance in Otago’s development.
This free lecture is presented as part of the Australia and New Zealand lecture series, produced by the Ulster Historical Foundation.
