In celebration of International Museum Day 2024 join the wider Toitū team for a day of exploration, knowledge sharing and hands on activities centred around The Big Day exhibition.
Curator Sean Brosnahan leads a guided gallery tour of The Big Day exhibition – celebrating Otago's rich material culture, embarking on a journey through 160 years of Otago's social history, delving into the stories behind the cherished mementos, wedding dresses, suits, and much more.
During this tour Sean will provide insights into the inception of the exhibition and in wedding attire fashion throughout the years.
