Are you into gardening? Want to find out how to build healthy soil that is drought and flood resistant and ALSO helps to fight climate change?!?
In this workshop we will talk about using our food scraps with the addition of Bokashi microorganisms and the ancient wisdom of Biochar to help build healthy soil that will not only provide great nutrition for your plants, but also improve the water holding capacity of the soil. This will mean that your soil will be able soak up more rainwater so be less prone to flooding. It will also mean that stored water will be available for your plants during long dry spells. As an added bonus for the environment, you'll also be storing more carbon in the soil where it belongs which is great for reversing climate change!
