Afro Dance Fundamentals Monthly Course

Afro Dance Fundamentals is a monthly 4 week course week course designed to develop the five core values of the Africanist Aesthetic and apply them in the context of 1-2 focus rhythms each month.

The course will develop key skills of poly-rhythmic awareness and learning to hear the specific rhythmic patterns that the movements lock into. The course includes training in specific body stances, isolations, and movement pathways, and developing skills to develop and become confident in improvisation.
