Come and learn how to dance the original Bachata, Dominican-style, a beautiful and upbeat partner dance!
We will focus on musicality, rhythm, timing, footwork, and a unique connection that sets it apart from the modern Sensual Bachata style (but is a lot of fun nonetheless)!
*7:30-8.15pm FREE DOMINICAN BACHATA Open Level Class.
*9-10.30pm Social Dancing to Bachata, Salsa, Kizomba songs.
Instructor: Luciano Costa, a Brazilian dancer, teacher and performer committed to Latin and Afro style of dances for more than 20 years. Within that time he has widened his knowledge through dancing, teaching and training both in New Zealand and overseas.
Luciano has been dancing Dominican Bachata since 2002, acquiring strong fundamentals from masters around the world, such as Troy and Jorjet, Carlos Cinta, and Moro during his time in the UK and Australia.
