Ever heard a tūī, an elephant seal, and a cicada making music together? No one has… until now! Animal Tracks lets players easily create songs using the sounds of Aotearoa’s animals. Come and experience this fun new musical video game made by Dunedin developers Spookysoft Games.

The game's sounds were captured by scientists, filmmakers, and wildlife enthusiasts. As you play, you'll learn about our native animals, as well as how melodies and rhythms can be visualised and combined.

Stef Animal, one of the game creators, will be here to teach you how to play, so, come in and check it out on the big screen and see what music you can make!

Also, Tūhura Otago Museum’s very own gamers, Jen and Marijn, will be in the Hutton Theatre for a video game swap. Bring in your old video games and see what epic trades you can make!

This weekend is your last chance to visit our FREE Code Breakers: Women in Games exhibition. Check out this interactive game zone while you still can!
