Night At The Museum

Join us to learn all you ever wanted to know about who we are, what we’re doing, what we are collecting, how we take care of everything and see a few of our favorite things!
The night includes guided tours of our behind-the-scenes spaces, a ‘show and tell’ of collection items and Sarah Buxton giving a (short!) talk about the work of the museum and answer questions.

Tickets: $35 for in-person attendance which includes nibbles. A cash bar will be available.

If you can’t be here in person you can still attend this event!
If you live outside of Auckland have a cozy night in or watch with a group of friends.
Tickets: $15 for an online live stream of the collection ‘show and tell’, the talk and question time (approximately 45mins) and access to a short video of the behind-the-scenes tour.

This is a fundraising event for the museum to help cover operational costs. The current funding climate in Aotearoa is putting more organisations under financial pressure.
