The Cult Project are most well known for their low waste ethos and their one of a kind pop ups that have been held nationwide.
Co-founder and chef Carlo Buenaventura will take this chance to continue showcasing more of what it’s like to be a Filipino cooking in New Zealand. Using his cultural background, food memories and his recent exploration of the Negros region in the Philippines, Carlo together with the team at Shepherd will curate a menu that takes influence from "Negrense" cuisine while mixing in more contemporary inspiration from New Zealand's seasons and surroundings.
Carlo will bring his fresh take on a Filipino sharing style of dining. The dinner will be a 3-course sharing menu containing snacks & dishes best shared by a group of four or more.
Richard Klein of Artigiano imports who's a friend to both and a true Wellingtonian will be providing all the wines for the evening. Think biodynamic, eco farming principles and low intervention. Pouring 3 wine matches that will compliment the set of dishes for each course.
Tickets are $95 pp which includes the 3 wine pours for the evening. So gather your family and/or friends and let us take you to a food journey and explore some new flavours to create new food memories by.
