Keen to save money on your weekly grocery bill? Want to reduce your plastic use? Ever wondered how to make your own cleaning products?

Join us for a hands-on, informative and FREE workshop where we'll teach you how to make your own low-cost, low-waste washing powder, cleaning paste, bench spray and dishwashing powder!

This event is held in the Te Awamutu Library meeting room. Walk through the main doors, turn left and head down the short corridor.

What to bring so you can take your products home:
2L ice cream container
2 glass jars
Spray bottle

Feel free to bring a couple of extra containers, so that you can donate some products to someone who needs it too! All ingredients and equipment will be supplied.

This is a FREE workshop, though registrations are essential. You must be 12 years or older. We’ll be working with baking soda, washing soda, borax, sunlight soap, liquid castile soap, citric acid, salt, and essential oils.
