We will be showing how you can save time and money by making the most of the food you buy.
With a bit of forward planning here, and a dash of savvy storage there; you can enjoy those little winning moments in life of having tomorrow’s lunch sorted the night before, or defrosting that spare portion of spag bol for a quick and easy dinner.
Join us for a fun workshop showing you ways to use up all your food so that nothing goes to waste. You'll get to taste what we make on the night, as well as receiving a free seasonal cookbook & storage tips guide, plus the chance to win a meal planner and storage stickers so that you're winning in the kitchen!
Food is donated to us by Whakaora Kai and this determines what recipes we make on the night.
This will be held in the Kamo Highschool Cooking rooms. Look for the EcoSolutions green flag along Wilkinson Ave for the correct gate entrance. Please park diagonally across the bus park in front of this gate.
Registration via the ticket link is a must so that we have accurate numbers for the night - and enough food!
