Wellington Cadet Centre
Amenities
Suitable for Ages
Located on the waterfront of Evans Bay in Wellington, the Wellington Cadet Centre was built primarily for use by the Wellington-based Cadet Units of the New Zealand Cadet Forces and also to support other youth activities and the community.
It is located on Wellington City Council land on the site known as Cog Park and in it's earlier days was a flying boat terminal for TEAL. The cadet unit TS Amokura and the Kupe Canoe Club have occupied this site for more than 30 years.
The centre is proudly owned and operated by the Wellington Cadet Centre Trust, a charitable trust formed in October 2006.
The centre is available for casual hire by community and other groups at times outside Cadet unit activities, which primarily take place during evenings and weekends. Period of hire can be half day, full day or other agreed term, for the purpose of meetings, seminars or training activities. Main hall seats 100, two training rooms seat 20. Kitchen available.
Please email WCCT.enquiries@gmail.com for further details including hire rates.
