Jo, Helen and Maria's shared passion to inspire and create, along with their appreciation of the iconic Colonial Heritage Antiques brand has lead them to embark on their concept store which is The Heritage Trading Company. The Heritage Trading Company consists of four brands under one roof - Colonial Heritage Antiques is absolutely the longest standing brand spanning 49 years in the well known 'antiques shop on the corner' location in Cambridge. Established by Ken and Bev Sheldrick and faithfully nurtured until Ken's well deserved retirement that consequently paved the way for the three friends to take ownership and add to it their own brands of Linen & Stone, Tuffet & Co. and Redeemed Recycled Interiors. Although there is some crossover with each of the brands, each also has a distinct style. All pieces have been handpicked and searched for far and wide bringing you unique characterful homewares. The three also often redesign and breathe new life into tired pieces by way of painting, sewing, recovering and repairing.

Jo, Helen and Maria are huge advocates for sustainable living and love to recycle and upcycle their way to ensure a better future for everyone. Their ethos of Restore-Reuse-Relove is about salvaging homewares from the past that often have a story and history that comes from being well made and has lasted the test of time. Something new to your home can be something old - our specialty is seeking out treasures and reinventing them to make them relevant again.

Their passion also extends to placing value on your shopping experience. They love the term 'slow retail' and hope to create an atmosphere where you feel comfortable to browse and soak up inspiration. They love to share their creative ideas and hear your stories.
