Just off the State Highway 2 at Norsewood you will find our retail store (the largest sock shop in New Zealand) & gallery.

The Factory site was formally a Dairy Company Factory and store then in 1968 became the Norsewear factory and still produces Norsewear socks and accessories and we have them for sale in our shop along with the 2nds and factory specials. We have added other Kiwi icon brands such as Swanndri and our own NZ Natural Clothing label with merino and possum merino garments.

In the 2011/12 year we had 44,000 customers visit, the kids can play with the toys or try out the flying fox in the playground across the road. We offer free tea and filter coffee and clean toilets. Our Gallery has local art and we have our very own Master Carver (Jeff Bryan) onsite, he has works for sale and produces awesome commissioned pieces.
