Greenhaugh Gardens surround a colonial homestead built-in 1874. The two-hectare semi-formal gardens have been developed over the past forty years, the background of established trees a legacy of previous occupants. Old roses, perennials, self-seeding annuals and bulbs are restrained by box hedging closer to the house. Shell rock paths lead through the pergola to the more informal water and woodland gardens. Each season boasts its own unique display and always there is much to see. Visitors can picnic in the garden and enjoy views of the sheep grazing in the surrounding fields.
The Plant Nursery is always popular with our many visitors and like the garden is open all year - closed on Sundays. Many of the plants can be posted or couriered to you. Just ask.
Some special plants I sell by my email list. Contact us to join the list.
