The Coach House Museum is home to an outstanding collection of New Zealand heritage, including many historic vehicles, farm implements and archival displays from the horse drawn era and beyond.
The museum explores pre-European history of local Maori, early European settlement and land development and the mechanisation of agriculture. Highlights include the Spall Collection - The rare 'Fitch Four' tractor & other stationary engines and the Crawshaw Collection - historic John Deere tractors and machinery.
The special stories of our early settlers in Feilding and the wider Manawatu region are celebrated throughout the museum in an extensive display of artifacts, audiovisual displays, informative descriptions and photographs.
