Take a step back in time to see how people lived 150 years ago!
Broadgreen is one of Nelson’s most iconic heritage experiences – a cob cottage, beautifully furnished and filled with early Nelsonian colonial artefacts.
It boasts a significant textile and period costume collection and always has an exhibition or display on show.
Children can get dressed up in old fashioned clothes and enjoy interactive activities and games in the Broadgreen Box Room. Fun children's programmes are also on offer in the holidays.
The extensive Samuels Rose Gardens surround Broadgreen. They contain around 3000 plants and about 600 varieties of roses, from old varieties to modern.
Free for locals.
