The New Zealand String Quartet is thrilled to be hitting the road once more with Sounds of the Sanctuary. A programme of works for string quartet inspired by the natural world, performed against the stunning backdrop of Aotearoa ecosanctuaries and nature reserves. After sold-out concerts at Zealandia Te Mara A Tane in Wellington and Orokonui Ecosanctuary in Dunedin, the NZSQ will now venture further into the wilds of Aotearoa with three new concert dates and three new sanctuaries.
Sounds of the Sanctuary promises an extraordinary audience experience, celebrating New Zealand's breathtaking natural world and the power of music to connect with the beauty that surrounds us.
