Tuesday Club - Dunedin Summer Shakespeare

This March, the Otago Settlers Association’s Tuesday Club welcomes Dr Kim Morgan, Co-Founder and Director of Dunedin Summer Shakespeare.

Dr Morgan will discuss the brief but rich history of Dunedin Summer Shakespeare, an award-winning programme that offers professional-quality, free theatre as a "moveable feast" across the city's diverse parks. A ProAm collaboration between seasoned veterans and emerging artists, DSS matches the enduring appeal of these classic tales with our diverse community, drawing from the rich tapestry of people and traditions that make up Ōtepoti Dunedin and bringing Shakespeare to life in fresh, exciting ways for our contemporary audiences.

This event begins with refreshments and an opportunity to chat with Otago Settlers Association members.
