Based on the best-selling novel by Rosalie Ham, The Dressmaker is a comedy-drama set in early 1950s Australia. After spending many years working as a dressmaker in exclusive Parisian fashion houses, Tilly Dunnage (Kate Winslet) returns home to the tiny, isolated town of Dungatar to care for her ill mother. Armed with her sewing machine and incredible sense of style, she transforms the local women while seeking revenge on those who wronged her.
