Based on the best-selling novel by Rosalie Ham, The Dressmaker is a comedy-drama set in early 1950s Australia. After spending many years working as a dressmaker in exclusive Parisian fashion houses, Tilly Dunnage (Kate Winslet) returns home to the tiny, isolated town of Dungatar to care for her ill mother.
