This is always a popular, easy walk, to learn about the wonderful birdlife to be found in Ōtari-Wilton’s Bush with DOC’s Principal Science Advisor and renowned ornithologist Hugh Robertson.


Meet at Tāne Whakapiripiri, Ōtari Visitor Centre. It is easy walking and family groups are welcome.

This is part of the Ōtari-Wilton’s Bush Trust’s annual autumn guided walks programme.

Join the Trust for only $20 for an individual or $30 for a double/family for a year and all the walks will be free, as well as other great benefits.
