Beginners Introduction to Wellington’s Common Native Plants

Celebrate Botanic Gardens Day Australia and New Zealand with Leon Perrie, Curator of Botany at Te Papa, in a session focused on the diversity of our local and common native plants. Gain an appreciation for the ecology and requirements of plant life in our local environment.

Meet at Tāne Whakapiripiri, Ōtari Visitor Centre. It is easy walking and family groups are welcome. This is part of the Ōtari-Wilton's Bush Trust's annual autumn guided walks programme. Join the Trust for only $20 for an individual or $30 for a double/family for a year and all the walks will be free, as well as other great benefits.
