Are you a computer slouch, feeling stiff and tense at work? Do you find it difficult to maintain a good posture? Does your posture cause back, neck or shoulder tension? Would you like to enjoy more freedom in everyday activities?

Under the guidance of an experienced teacher, we'll explore movement in ways that help you reduce tense unhelpful habits. Movement lessons are done on the floor or sitting on a chair and are based on the pioneering work of Israeli physicist and engineer Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais. This workshop is suitable for all ages (over 16) and fitness levels.

Outcomes
By the end of the workshop, you'll be able to:
- Identify and reduce muscle tension
- Move with more lightness and freedom
- Improve your posture
- Describe some basic anatomy
- Have tools to use at home and at work

Bring two blankets (or a mat and a blanket) and wear loose, warm and comfortable clothing. Tea and coffee provided but bring your lunch.

Please note that instructions are given verbally rather than by demonstration, so good hearing and understanding of English is required.

Presented by Sue Field.
