Looking for real friendship and connection?

Not that superficial stuff where you talk about how your weekend was or the latest game.

I mean deep conversation.

Like discussing your inner work, issues with your father, or the insecurity you’ve felt in relationships.

If you want a community of like-minded people committed to personal growth...

And if you want to get out of your head and connect to your emotions and feel alive again…

Welcome to Lionheart.

WHAT IS LIONHEART?

Lionheart is a weekly group bringing together men on the path of personal development. We explore both our masculinity and femininity, integrating these parts of ourselves into something more authentic, courageous and compassionate.

We focus on embodiment — connecting more deeply with our feelings and the suppressed parts of ourselves. It's about going inward to understand ourselves better, and then outward to connect with a group of men on a similar journey.

In doing so, we can show up fully for ourselves, our communities and build deep, lasting friendships.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

We meet every week on Wednesdays at 6.30pm - 8.30pm:

- Check-in: We introduce ourselves and share some context to explain how we’re showing up
- Somatic Meditation: We dive into a 20-30 minute somatic meditation to explore our emotions
- Sharing Circle: We discuss what's happening in our lives, reflect on our experiences, and support each other

We talk about a wide range of topics: fatherhood, relationships, breakups, finances, and anything else that might be on your mind.

MY JOURNEY

Hey, my name is Eli!

I’m a somatic (i.e. body-based awareness) meditation teacher and facilitator of Lionheart.

Five years ago, I was working in the corporate sector in London but always felt something was missing. I was disconnected from my body and I was trapped in a cycle of overthinking and numbness.

After a difficult breakup with my boyfriend, I quit my job, travelled the world, and started a hypnotherapy app that has helped thousands of people to quit smoking. Eventually, I moved to New Zealand and built a meditation business.

Somatic meditation and men's work has been a significant part of my journey. I’ve been mentored by the creator of a leading men's group in the US and I co-founded a men's group here in Wellington last year.

WHY THIS GROUP IS DIFFERENT

Lionheart is a co-created space with an emphasis on feeling safe. But it’s also a lighthearted space. I believe that nothing should be taken too seriously, and we’ll have moments of laughter and lightness alongside our deep discussions.

I also bring a unique perspective to this group. Growing up, I struggled with my sexuality and came out in my late teens. My journey has taught me a lot about balancing my masculine and feminine energies. It’s this sense of balance that I bring to Lionheart.

This is an inclusive space. All men are welcome regardless of background or experience.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT ME

“Eli has an incredible warmth to him. His energy is healing and his ability to hold space and help me navigate difficult feelings is genuinely therapeutic. He’s hugely helped me reconnect with my body and develop a stronger intuition of what I need in my life.” - Ramon

“Working with Eli has helped shed a lot of light on the patterns that were in my blind spot and holding me back. I've been able to let them go and now I'm not as limited by fear. I'm more willing to have the courage to show up and engage in life.” - Dan
