Wellington! Morning People is Back, and for our first club show in the capital since 2019, we’re fizzing to present seasoned dance music veteran Mr Oz.
Cutting his teeth in London’s seminal dance music scene, Mr Oz has lived and breathed electronic music since the late 80s, leaving an indelible mark on dance music culture.
In 1991 he was label manager for React Music, one of the most respected and influential labels in dance music of the 1990s and early 2000s, where he oversaw infamous releases including Candi Staton’s 'You've Got The Love', Age of Love, Carl Cox F.A.C.T and the infamous Reactivate compilation series.
If DJing and managing an iconic label wasn’t enough, Mr Oz was also a key organiser for Universe Tribal Gathering, one of the UK’s most infamous festivals, which he also played, sharing stages with Underworld, Jeff Mills, Ritchie Hawtin, Darren Emerson, Dave Clarke, Sven Vath, Dave Angel, CJ Bolland and David Holmes.
Back on home soil, more recently he’s played some of the most renowned festivals in the country, including Twisted, The Forest, Taniwha's Den, Kandiland and Funkhutt at Kiwiburn.
Set in the immersive dark embrace of Valhalla, don’t miss one of Morning People’s first parties back in the capital, featuring dance music veteran Mr Oz.
