"Nelly Jelly World" is based on Lithuania's favourite children's book series. Since her creation in 2010, Nelly Jelly (or Kakė Makė in Lithuanian) has become a superstar in almost every Lithuanian home. Nelly Jelly has gone from "Who?" to "Wow!" Creator Lina Žutautė was inspired by the magic of childhood, where every discovery is awesome, and every question is an adventure.
"Periodical" – directed by the talented #Lithuanianfilmmaker Lina Lyte Plioplyte – is a thought-provoking documentary that delves into the often overlooked and stigmatized topic of menstruation. With a blend of humour, heart, and insightful commentary, "Periodical" aims to challenge societal norms and spark meaningful conversations about women's health and empowerment.
"Acid Forest" – Imagine a surreal landscape taken over by cormorants and the unique perspective on the interaction between nature and humans. This film will have you questioning everything you thought you knew about the environment!
"Slow" is an award-winning romantic drama that was recognized in such festivals as "Sundance", "Arras" and "Les Arcs", where the feature received top prizes. The story follows the deepening bond between contemporary dancer Elena and asexual sign language interpreter Dovydas. "Slow" beautifully examines the complexities of intimacy and modern relationships, providing a nuanced look at how people connect and communicate on emotional and physical levels.
