Heard Park After Dark - Parnell Winter Lights

From 21 June to 19 July, the trees in Heard Park will be lit up and changing colour to add magic to the heart of Parnell. These lights create an ambience for celebration and reflection, perfect for the Matariki season. The sparkling trees not only look magnificent, but they have a hidden talent too—they are responsive to sound. Such an installation has never been enjoyed in Parnell until now.

On Friday 21 June, 5, 12 & 19 July from 5-7pm, grab a free hot drink from Mrs Sippy coffee cart and enjoy some of New Zealand’s finest musicians as they park up under a tree and make it twinkle to their talent. From saxophone to singing, a mini grand piano and even an accordion, come and have a Friday night party in the prettiest Parnell Park.
