Handbuilding for Kids with Jennie Bate

Treat your kids to an exciting morning of clay fun led by skilled teacher Jennie at her studio in Founders Park. Children will unleash their creativity by sculpting imaginative pieces during the first part of the morning. After a brief morning tea break, they'll return to the studio to decorate their creations, adding personal touches to bring their sculptures to life. -- Please note: The venue for this is Kōwhai Art Studio inside the Founders Park. Please make sure your kids have lunch and a drink bottle with them.

Jennie Bate is a primary school teacher, artist, and owner of Kōwhai Art Studio. She has been teaching art to children throughout Whakatū in various locations and schools, including The Suter Art Gallery, Nelson Community Potters, and her school holiday programs at Kōwhai Art Studio.
