The Chakras Yoga Retreat - Elevate Your Energy

After our last retreat there was an overwhelming positive response to Shivani Ma from Sydney, Australia. Shivani surprised students with her free style, her yoga practice which was not confined to her mat, her flowing sensual movements, wise soul and reflections. I am thrilled she will be returning as the main teacher at the upcoming retreat which will be an exploration of the Chakras - the subtle energy anatomy of Yoga that helps the body and mind function optimally and invites more health and harmony into one's life. The theme and focus of all the sessions during this retreat will follow the individual chakras. Shivani will be joined by Chai and Bex Deva, both co-owners of Kindred Studio in Nelson. Chai will teach two invigorating morning sessions, one Vinyasa and one Hatha plus Yoga Nidra, Pranayama and Bandhas later in the afternoons. Bex will be hosting a crystal sound bowl experience plus a beach movement session one evening.

The venue for this retreat will be Kimi Ora Eco Resort, just minutes from the stunning Kaiteriteri beach and on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park. 'Kimi Ora' in Maori means 'Seek Health' which is the philosophy of the resort with their endeavours in protecting the environment, saving energy and working with the local community. Kimi Ora Eco Resort offers various facilities to relax or entertain students during free time. Bush walks, heated indoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, steam and sauna rooms, library and road bikes are all available during the retreat. There are also mountain bike trails nearby if you wish to bring your own or hire a mountain bike.

Chai will be offering a limited number of bodywork sessions, either therapeutic massage or deep tissue massage. These will be an additional cost of $75 for a 45 minute session.
All meals* will be served in 'The Views' onsite vegetarian restaurant.
*One evening we will enjoy a meal at a local restaurant in Kaiteriteri, this cost is not included.

Day 4 - 1 Dec : An Integration of all the Chakras
