Gisborne Canoe and Tramping Club

Start walking from the end of the road at Tawararo (Kaiti Beach), around the sand and rocky shoreline, with some boulder-hopping sections and reef walking. This is a low tide (1.05pm) visit to Tuamotu. Wet feet, and potentially wet all over depending on the swell waves. We will only have half an hour on the island, before walking back across the reef.
