Drought Tolerant Garden - Cambridge may be the upcoming event you’re looking for.

Join Yotam Kay from Pakaraka Permaculture Limited as he shares his passion for sustainable gardening practices. He will be guiding attendees through some case studies of drought-tolerant gardens.

All attendees will be in the draw to win a $100 gift voucher to Landscape Supply Co. Te Awamutu, 40L bag of mulch, trigger nozzle and water saving gel. There will also be spot prizes throughout the workshops. Prizes are thanks to our partners at Smart Water.

Yotam Kay – Founder/Director – Pākaraka Permaculture:
Yotam is a master gardener, growing vegetables and teaching others how to do it since 2005. Yotam loves growing things and sharing his passion for it. Yotam holds a Diploma in Permaculture Design, and a Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Practice, and is a certified Permaculture teacher.

He had been working on a wide range of projects before establishing Pākaraka Permaculture in 2014; leading community garden projects, establishing food gardens & sustainability programs in schools, to managing commercial organic gardens in New Zealand.

Yotam is a regular contributor to NZ Gardener Magazine. Niva and Yotam were awarded the peer-reviewed 'Farmer of the Year' at the 2021 Organic NZ Awards.
