City Nature Challenge - Guided Fungi Exploration

As a part of the City Nature Challenge, we are getting up close and personal to nature with our local nature experts.

Dr Geoff Ridley will be guiding us through Trellisick Park to learn about the fungi kingdom. Local experts from Te Papa will be joining us to see what bugs other wonders we can find. Come and listen, come and explore, come and connect to nature.

Meeting Point – Wightwick’s field. Enter Trellisick Park via the Waikowhai Street entrance, near the Crofton Downs Park & Ride.

Bring – Walking shoes, a sunhat, warm layers, and if you’d like to take part in the City Nature Challenge bring your phone or camera.
