Everyone is warmingly invited to join Canterbury Film Society for a free open screening: Seven Winters in Tehran (Steffi Niederzoll - 2023 - 97mins - France/Germany - E)
Using smuggled footage, this documentary follows a young Iranian woman sentenced to death for killing her would-be rapist and her family's fight for justice over her seven year imprisonment.
Presented with the support of the Goethe Institut this film is free and open to the public. Doors open at 7.00pm and you can mingle in the foyer (home baked treats and drinks - please bring cash as eftpos is not available).
