Learn how to make, feed and harvest a worm farm! Help make the worm bedding, find out what to feed worms, and how to harvest and utilise castings and worm wee. Discover the difference between compost worms and earthworms. Please bring a 1.5 or 2ltr clear soft drink bottle and newspaper to create your own mini worm farm. Wear closed-toe shoes – no jandals or sandals, wear warm outdoor clothes. Parents/guardians/caregivers are required, please book your free ticket at the same time you book a child ticket. If you have a young child who will attend but not participate, please also book them a free 'adult' ticket. Limited spaces are available for this event due to facility capacity.
