Ōtari Glowworm Tour

Take a guided night tour through Ōtari-Wilton’s Bush and discover some of the fascinating night-time residents on your way to see the titiwai/glowworms. Enjoy the tranquil beauty of the bush after dark and witness the magical glow of these unique creatures.

This outdoor night-time tour takes just over an hour.
If bringing children, we find it most suitable for those aged 5 years and older.
The tour requires a moderate level of fitness, the route includes numerous steps to and from the glowworms.

Meet at the Ōtari Visitors Centre, 150 Wilton Road. Bring warm clothes, walking shoes, and a torch.
