If the water is healthy, the land will be nourished. If the land is nourished, the people will thrive.
Join artist Kedron Parker at Wellington Museum as she shares the story of her sound work Kumutoto Stream, followed by a morning tea. Kedron will then lead a short walk along the piped path of the Kumutoto, finishing at her Woodward Street sound installation. There, the stream will be honored by a moment of listening and imagining the beauty that is just underfoot.
This event is part of Takurua Hauora: Winter Wellness, a series of events promoting wellbeing through Sir Mason Durie’s Whare Tapa Whā health model.
