The Barbie Collector: Toy Theatre

Lights! Camera! Action!

Tamariki learn to produce a short film starring their own toys in a workshop inspired by Wellington Museum's The Barbie Collector exhibition.

Starting with a tour of the exhibition, tamariki will get an insight into all the characters Barbie has played in her lifetime, and begin to create their own.

Next, your budding filmmaker will head across the road to Capital E's OnTV Studio where they will use professional film equipment to make a cinematic experience of their own.

This workshop is suitable for tamariki ages 9 - 12.

Note: Drop-off is at Wellington Museum and pick-up is at Capital E.
