Remiger Road Planting Day!

For Conservation Week we are asking you to STAND UP FOR NATURE!

That’s why we are looking for some keen volunteers to join in on one, two or ALL THREE days of our three-day planting event at Remiger Bush Scenic Reserve in Puhoi.

The three events are on the following days:
Wednesday 16th August
Thursday 17th August
Friday 18th August

Please ensure you are there by 10am for the health and safety chat beforehand.

Planting will take place between 10.30am and 1pm (+ a lunch break) to help plant up the beautiful Remiger Bush Scenic Reserve with native trees and shrubs!

If you are keen or have any questions, please contact scrannasmith@doc.govt.nz with your name, contact number and the days you would like to take part.

Please bring your own lunch & water, and anything to protect you from the weather.

NOTE: The meeting site will be just before the second bridge on Remiger Road. A DOC banner will be present on the day to help you find it.
