Families, friends, whānau and children are all welcome to join in and walk together, taking the time to reflect, remember and appreciate those they have loved and lost, at the Whangārei Quarry Gardens on Sunday 10 December.

For the last 30 years, North Haven Hospice has had Memory Trees at various venues in Whangārei and this year we wish to extend an invitation in partnership with the Whangarei Quarry Gardens. Come along and be with others who may need a few kind words, a listening ear, a genuinely friendly smile and sometimes a tissue at this time of the year. You are invited to write a message or thought on one of our star's or heart's in memory of a loved one. Your message can then be taken home to hang on your own tree or you can hang it on North Haven Hospice's Memory Trees at the event. Once Christmas is over, the hearts and stars are cremated and blessed before being scattered over the gardens at North Haven Hospice in Tikipunga.

Please join us and others as we remember and rejoice for the good memories, and dedicate a little time to those special people once in your life. Together we are stronger as we honour and remember those gone before us.

Compassionate communities working together, supporting people to live and die well.

Supported and sponsored by Whangarei Quarry Gardens, Newberrys Funeral Home and Whangarei District Council Christmas Festival.
