During a tour of the NZ Marine Studies Centre at Portobello, connect to your coast, meet local marine species at our touch tanks and discover what makes them special. Get an insight into climate change research at the Portobello Marine Lab, before taking a deep sea dive in our virtual submarine!
Two sessions are available:
- 10:30am until 12pm
- 12:30pm until 2pm
Adults are $15, children (2-18 years old) are $10. Please purchase tickets at https://events.humanitix.com/marine-encounters-at-the-nz-marine-studies-centre
Toddlers 2yrs and under are free but please specify numbers in your ticket registration.
Most of our site is accessible via wheelchair or stroller. Please specify accessibility needs in your registration.
