A great day for the family to contribute to the restoration of the beautiful Grovetown Lagoons. Suitable for all ages. Free BBQ will be provided, and lovingly cooked by the Lions Club.
Where: Meet at the "sign", Steam Wharf Rd, Grovetown
Bring: warm cloths, gumboots or solid boots, a spade if you have one, water bottle
Postponement: Sunday 11th August – registered volunteers will receive email notification, otherwise please check Grovetown Lagoon facebook page before 8:30am.

Junior Landcare, a national initiative by NZ Landcare Trust-Ngā Matapopore Whenua and supported by the Bupa Foundation, aims to promote environmental stewardship through nature connection and intergenerational experiences.
This year Junior Landcare is teaming up with Grovetown Lagoon and Koru Wildlife Centre to provide a series of fun and meaningful events and activities throughout the year to link children and families to nature.
