Gillions Annual Pet Memorial

Gillions is a family-owned funeral home here in Dunedin, and every year we hold a pet memorial for people who have lost their pets. This year on the 1st October we will be holding a full funeral service for people assist in providing closure. It is a full memorial service with a Celebrant, Musician, a slideshow, a remembrance tree where participants can place wooden hearts with their pets name on, and refreshments afterward.

We also use this as a chance to help struggling rescue groups within our community. This year we are supporting Dunedin Cat Rescue, Dunedin Bird Rescue and One By One Dog Rescue. We ask for a Koha which 100% of the donations will go to the charities.

This year we will be live streaming the service on www.gillions.co.nz/kereru-channel so people can be there, even if not in Dunedin.
