Hutt Valley Orchestra is delighted to be presenting their first concert for 2023.

Included are MacCunn's "The Land of the Mountain and the Flood" evoking stirring images of the Scottish Highlands, Vaughan Williams lively "English Folk Song Suite", Khachaturian's "Waltz" from Masquerade and Delius "La Calinda". We move to the Caucasus with Ippolitov-Ivanov's Caucasian Sketches Suite no.1. This includes the dramatic last movement "Procession of the Sardar".
