Christmas Festival Community Hui

The Whangarei District Council Venues and Events team would like to invite you to a community hui to discuss what you would like to see happening in the community for Christmas this year.

We are putting together a collection of events from our communities to bring festive cheer to our whole district!

This meeting is open to any person or community group who is interested in running an event as part of the Christmas Festival or has an idea of something they would like to see delivered to the community to celebrate Christmas. Come along to connect with others so that we can collectively create an amazing collection of events this December.

The Christmas Festival will be a series of events across the Whangārei District happening between Saturday 25 November to Sunday 24 December 2023 to spread some Christmas cheer! Events may include markets, concerts, arts and crafts, workshops, parades, light displays and more!
