Tūhura Otago Museum’s After Dark parties are legendary in Dunedin – come and find out why!
Bring on the tropical heat, light, and freedom of After Dark: Full Moon Party. Dress bright, gather your crew, and come party with us.
From a DJ and light up dance floor while surrounded by giant psychedelic projections in the Beautiful Science Gallery, to dancing in an indoor Tropical Forest amongst the floating rainforest butterflies. Our friends from The Alchemist will be mixing tropical cocktail delights at their tiki bar.
Our 360-degree dome planetarium showing the night sky over Thailand will provide a comfortable chill-out zone with some downbeat tunes when you need to step away and center yourself.
If you get sick of dancing, come and get your fortune read by our fabulous palm reader or make a bead bracelet at the makerspace. There will be explosive science demonstrations, karaoke, and lots more.
There is a cash bar, cocktails, and the city’s best food trucks outside. It’s the next best thing to being on Koh Phangan beach.
Tickets to After Dark sell out quickly, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
