We are lucky to have a tight-knit community in Otago! Join the largest knitter-run event in the world at Tūhura Otago Museum and meet others that love creating with wool.
We’re hosting World Knit in Public Day throughout the Museum, with free, family-friendly activities, workshops, and demonstrations throughout the day.
Come along to this global celebration, have a yarn, and come together in the warmth of Tūhura Otago Museum to celebrate with Dunedin’s knitting community.
Schedule:
Wooly Makerspace: 10am – 3pm (Atrium Level 1)
Miniature Embroidery: 11am – 2pm (Beautiful Science Gallery)
The Wonderful World of Spider Webs: 11.30am (Barlcay Theatre)
The Dressmaker: 1pm (Barclay Theatre)
