Tessa Quayle Quartet

Nelson-based jazz singer Tessa Quayle will be joining up with Wellingtons own Seth Boy - bass, Ayrton Foote - keys and Mark Lockett - drums for a night of vocal jazz.

Tessa loves to take well-known standards and put her own original stamp on the arrangements, and on this night you may even be treated to an original tune or two.

This will be Tessa’s first time performing in Wellington since 2018, having left Wellington to move to Nelson in 2016. Currently, she leads her own jazz group, sings in both bands Bossa Via and Sun City Soul, and is a guest singer for the Nelson Jazz Club Big Band.

Lovebite is an intimate venue, some seating has restricted viewing of the band. It is recommended that you arrive early to secure a seat.
