New Zealand and International composers were invited to compose for flute + taonga puoro, and this programme is the result: an extraordinarily diverse and beautiful array of sounds celebrating Te Hau (the breath) through this carefully curated meeting of European and Māori instruments. Brought to you as part of the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) and Asian Composers League (ACL) double festival running in Ōtautahi Christchurch.
