St Margaret's College Art and Sculpture Exhibition

The St Margaret’s College Art and Sculpture Exhibition takes place 2-4 September in the St Margaret’s College Gymnasium, 12 Winchester Street, Merivale, Christchurch.

Established six years ago, the exhibition is already one of Christchurch’s most highly anticipated art events. This year the exhibition will feature leading New Zealand contemporary artists, as well as a collection of US modern art generously presented for sale by the Rutherford family, including some truly spectacular original works.

Generously sponsored by Irelands, this biennial event raises funds for The St Margaret’s College Foundation, the charitable trust established to enable students to realise their potential in a supportive and well-resourced environment through initiatives including scholarship, assisting students and their families through times of hardship, and promoting continued excellence in academia, the arts and sport.

The St Margaret’s College Art and Sculpture Exhibition coincides with the opening of The Arts Centre’s Sculpture Festival, for a weekend of celebration of the arts and education.
